Severe storms and flooding placed vulnerable Western Cape households under immediate pressure. With AMCO's support, Ashraful Aid procured 2,000 food hampers at R285 per hamper and moved rapidly into distribution.

Phase 1 delivered 1,000 hampers from 23 to 25 May 2026 across Valhalla Park, Belgravia, Macassar, Kramat, Sandvlei, Khayelitsha, Tafskraal, Nkhanini and Makaza. Phase 2 will distribute the remaining 1,000 hampers, with a follow-up report to close the full allocation.
